Accessing Event Management

The Event Management Application on the website is used to manage registration events created using Jonas Activity Management(JAM)/Encore Event Management. Registration events have to be published manually from the Event Management > Manage Events section in order for members to view the event on the website. This is also where information only events which live on the website can be created along with assigning colors to categories and configuration settings.

Items to manage include:

  • Manage Events
    • View events and number of registrants (names would be viewed from JAM/Encore Events) 
    • Add content to describe event
    • Publish/Hide event from members
    • Create unique link for event
  • Create Event
    • Create information only events - these do not communicate back to JAM/Encore events
  • Categories
    • Color code event categories created from JAM/Encore Event Management Event Types
  • Configuration
    • Defaults on how calendar will display and function for members on website

 To access the Event Management Module on the website:

  1. Login into your club's website as an Administrator
  2. Top right corner - Click your name 
  3. Select Switch to Club Central

  4. Select Event Management
    •  If Event Management application is not on the Dashboard​
      1. Top left corner - Click planet icon
      2. Select Module
      3. Select Event Management
  5. ​​There should only be 4 options on the left
    1. ​Manage Events
    2. Create Event
    3. Categories
    4. Configuration
Note: If more than 4 tabs appear on the left:
  • Integration between JAM/Encore Events and the website has not been completed
  • Club has opted to use the Online Event Management Calendar and is not using or did not purchase JAM/Encore Event Management Module to create registration events
