How to Reset a User Password
Administrators have the ability to reset a User Account password for the purpose of registering a member on their behalf or resetting a user's password because they were unable to do so on their own. Often users are unable to reset the password on their own is because the email address they entered was not associated with the user account they registered with to use the ClubHouse Online website. This reset password option does not require access to the users email to change the password.
To reset a user's password:
- Log in to the club's ClubHouse Online website with an Administrator user account and access Club Central.
- From within Club Central, click Planet icon (Open Application List) at the top left.
- Select User Management > Users from the Applications list.
- User: Contains field - keep the drop-down as Contains. In the box to the right, enter search criteria to find user.
- Search can be done by: User name, Full Name, Email Address or Member Number.
- Click Search.
- Click pencil icon to the left of the username.

- In the user profile screen, by default, General will be selected from the left navigation.
- Click Reset Password
The one time use unique URL link will be displayed and the instructions will be different depending if the club has enabled Two Factor Authentication or not.
With Two Factor Authentication Enabled
On screen, two steps will be displayed with the one time use unique URL.
Reset Password Link:
1. Highlight and copy the below URL.
2. Paste the URL into URL/Address bar in the same window you are logged in as an administrator, and hit enter

Complete process Administrators will follow
- Highlight and copy the one time use unique URL. (If Reset Password is clicked a second time a new unique URL will be generated.)
- Paste the URL into the Address bar in the current browser and hit enter. DO NOT OPEN A NEW WINDOW.
- The enter and confirm password page will display and the new password could be entered.
- Click Save & Submit.

Note: The user could still be sent the Website Authentication email with the Verification Code, but it is not required to complete the password change on screen. This email can be ignored.
Under the
Restrictions section of the user profile, if the
Two Factor Authentication Enabled: is unchecked. The instructions for
Without Two Factor Authentication Enabled steps will be displayed on screen instead, this can be found below.
Administrators will be prompted to get the passcode from the user's email in order to proceed with the password change.
Without Two Factor Authentication Enabled
On screen, three steps will be displayed with the one time use unique URL.
Reset Password Link:
1. Highlight and copy the below URL.
2. Logout of the website
3. Paste the URL into the URL/Address bar and hit enter

Complete process Administrators will follow
- Highlight and copy the one time use unique URL. (If Reset Password is clicked a second time a new unique URL will be generated.)
- Logout of the website.
- Alternatively, if the administrator doesn't want to log out of their account, a separate new window or incognito browser could be opened instead.
- Paste the URL into the Address bar and hit enter.
- The enter and confirm password page will display and the new password could be entered.
- Click Save & Submit.

Administrators could also copy this link and email it to a user, this way they could choose a new password on their own. When the user clicks on the link in the email, it will open the enter and confirm password page.
