Widget Layout

Introduction

With Widget Layout, there is the flexibly to enable/disable the widgets anytime, creating various layouts

Enable / Disable

All widgets are disabled by default. Widgets can be enabled or disabled any time by clicking the toggle, the change will then immediately be effective on the app (given there is no cache on the users device)

View/Edit

Click “View/Edit” to view or edit the widget.
When the widget is enabled, the changes will be published after clicking “Save & Publish”.  When the widget is disabled, the changes will be saved as draft. It will be published when the widget is enabled.

Cache clearing

To ensure a seamless browsing experience, the home screen layout settings are cached on the user’s device for 30 minutes. Afterwards, when the user relaunches the app, the device will get the new settings (if there are updates). That means if you make changes during the user’s device cache effective period, your changes will not be immediately displayed on their app.

To check how your set up looks on the member app, you can run an “ad-hoc cache clearing”.
  Steps
1. Open Slide Out Menu
2. Click “Setting”
3. Click “About this app”
4. Relaunch your app
