Multiple Image Upload

Instead of having to upload each photo from an event one by one there is the option of uploading multiple images all at once.

In order to upload multiple images to your Image Gallery, please follow these steps:

1. Select a page from the Content Tree (ideally this would be the Image Gallery page but it doesn't have to be)
2. Select the Insert/Edit Media (film strip icon) button from the Content Editor Toolbar

From the Insert image or media window:

1. Select the Content Tab at the top (this is the most important step for Multiple Image uploads)
2. This will display the Content Tree
3. Select the Image Gallery from the Content Tree you wish to upload your images to
4. Click on the Upload button

This will take you to your Computer to locate the images that you would like to upload.

Reminder: Please edit, crop, resize and rename the images on your computer before you upload the file(s).

1. Locate the folder where the files you wish to upload are located
2. Select your photos

Tips

• If you would like all the photos in the folder - hold down the CTRL key and the letter a this will select all the photos

• To select specific photos in the folder - hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and using the mouse, click on the photos you want in the folder

• If you selected too many photos and would like to deselect photos - hold down the CTRL key and click on a photo that is already selected this will allow you to deselect the photo

3. Once you have selected the photos you want to upload, click on the Open button

This will upload all the selected images to the gallery specified. If you wish to upload additional files or select files from an alternate folder, please repeat the steps above.

In the Insert image or media window, the 5 images have been uploaded into the Content Tree. The last selected image (Tulips) will display in the window.

• Click on the X in the top right hand corner to close this window. (DO NOT click on Save & Close; if you accidentally click Save & Close, the last selected image (Tulips) will be added into a content box on the gallery page; just click the photo and press delete on your keyboard)

Refresh the Content Tree

In the event the images do not display in the content tree.

1. At the top of the content tree
2. Hover mouse over the green and white checkmark icon
3. This will display a refresh icon
4. Click on the icon to refresh

The 5 images should now display in the content tree as child pages under the Image Gallery

In the event the images do not display on the page.​

• on the keyboard press the F5 button

or

• click on the Reload button located in the top left corner of the browser to reload

This will reload the page and the images will be inserted as thumbnails in the Image Gallery section of the page.


Now that all the images have been uploaded, you may want to change the order, add a caption to the images or even delete an image that was selected in error. For individual image modifications click here.
